Gerry Beitel, a lifelong resident of Southwestern Pennsylvania, is best known for her expressive watercolors, including the rendition of Manordale Farm (Note Card Collection II) and Starry Night (Note Card Collection V) . She is a self-taught artist, supplementing her independent art experiences with classes and workshops with other professional artists. She also works and teaches in pastels, acrylics, oils, weaving, needlework, and clay.

Active in the Greensburg Art Club, she has served as a board member, chairperson of the membership, program, and nominating committees, and as open studio monitor. Gerry served in various capacities for more than twelve years for Greensburg Art Club's Annual Juried Show held at the Westmoreland Museum of (American) Art. She is currently vice-president of Greensburg Art Club and a member of the Norwin Art League and the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society.

Gerry's award winning works are accepted in many group shows, invitationals, and solo exhibits throughout the region, and are available in selected area galleries.
