Susan Stephan Foster
For Sue Foster, drawing and painting have always been a part of life.
She graduated from Westminster College with a degree in Art Education.
A frequent award winner, her work has been juried into national shows including
the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society’s Aqueous Open, The Pennsylvania Watercolor
Society International and the Westmoreland Nationals. Her paintings
have hung in the Westmoreland Museum of American Art, the Southern Allegheny
Museum of Art and the Hoyt Institute and are found in numerous private
and corporate collections. She has been a board member of the Pittsburgh
Watercolor Society and the East Suburban Artists League, is a signature
member of the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society and the Midwest Watercolor
Society. A frequent instructor throughout this area, Sue is also
a member of the co-op gallery, WATERCOLORS in the Pittsburgh cultural district.
