Leonard T. Laurich ... Len attended Kent State University, where he earned a BA degree in art. After graduation he began working for West Penn Power's display department in Pittsburgh. For forty and a half years he served as a production assistant, artist, graphic designer, and, ultimately, art director for the company's advertising and sales promotion department. During this time, he received numerous awards for his commercial work. As a change of pace from the duties of his professional art, Len developed an interest in watercolor painting. After retiring, he joined the Greensburg Art Club and refined his skills by participating in workshops.

In addition to city scenes such as Looking Down Grant Street in the 70th Anniversary Note Cards collection, he particularly enjoys painting country landscapes and old farm buildings. His Greensburg Railroad Station Renovation was recently chosen as one of six local scenes reproduced as Greensburg Bicentennial Prints by Southwest Bank and Greensburg Art Club.
