Mary Lacey Hoffmann
Mary was born in West Mifflin, Pa. and has lived in the Mount Pleasant
area for the past 15 years. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree
from Seton Hill University with a major in photography with a certificate
in Art Education. She has taught photography at both
Allegheny and Westmoreland Community Colleges in Continuing Education for
22 years. Originally an oil painter, Mary was drawn to the fascinating
unpredictability of watercolor 11 years ago. It provides a continuing
process of playing and learning for her.
